Last season, the Port Lambton Pirates U15 Girls Softball - Team Black organized a low-key fundraiser in support of Curveballs for Cancer. The team designed and sold pink Pirates t-shirts with a portion of proceeds going towards the cause. Through word-of-mouth only, the team sold101 Pink Piratest-shirts and with a generous boost from an anonymous donor were able to donate$1000.00to the Bluewater Health Foundation’s Cancer Clinic Redevelopment Campaign.
